7th Grade

Seventh grade was filled with a LOT of changes. We'd moved again between 6Th and 7Th grade, but this also meant I was reunited with some of my friends from my first school. I played violin in the Orchestra again this year. I also had my first year on track, I so wanted to be as good as my Dad at track. I had a fabulous Biology teacher who let me argue with him. He said our class scored the highest out of all his classes. I also took my first year of Pre-Algebra, I only made a C though. I was also selected to take the ACT, they wanted to jump me up to the 9Th grade because I scored the same as 9Th and 10Th graders. It scared me to even think about high school, I knew I just wasn't ready for it yet and everyone was really nice about it when I said no that I wanted to stay in my grade. One of my cousins also started molesting me, I had went over to there house a few weekends each months for past several years. The worst time was at the church we all went to. After that I quite going to their house for sleepovers and also stopped going to their church. I was still trying to hold on to my faith, I must have read the story of Job a hundred times over the next few years. I learned later that she had been molested also and was able to finally forgive her. This was also the year things got really bad with my oldest brother and he started raping me, I can still hear the sound of the paneling as it scraped against the carpet when he would come in at night and still am paranoid about bathroom windows. This year was mostly a confusing painful mess for me but I'm glad I have the good memories from this year too.
